Collection Photography Project

During GMD's history, over 400,000 students and researchers have enhanced their learning through direct study of GMD collection objects. Now, local and national researchers are also able to view photographs of many of the objects and access collection records through the digital database. Funded through grants and individual donations, the photography project expands access to GMD's collection, allowing fragile items to be examined in close detail, researchers to find objects that enhance their study, and donors to share heirloom items with family members across the country.
